Set up notifications. Configure Galaxy alarm system for email and/or SMS.

First, you need a subscription, which can be ordered on our website. Follow this link:

Subscription validity: 1 year. At the end of the subscription, you will receive a notification that it is expiring; you can then renew your subscription via the website.

If you have taken out a subscription with a bundle and it is running low, you will also receive a message so that you can top it up.

You will receive an IP address, Port number, and customer number from us. You must configure this data in your alarm system.

Galaxy Flex/Flex+ Panels

First, enter installer mode.

Activate Galaxy Flex3 installer mode.

Enter the default manager code 1234 and press enter. (Use a different code if this has been customized.)
Press 48, enter 1=System access, enter 1=Install., then it says Install. )=DISABLED, press 1 enter to activate installer mode. You have 5 minutes to perform the next step.

Press Esc multiple times to return to the normal display.

Enter the default installer code 112233 and press Enter. (Use a different code if this is custom)

You will now see 10=ENABLEMENT MENU
You are now in installer mode.

Enter the IP address, customer number, and port number that you received from us. Set the IP address of the SMS server (Menu 56.1.1.1.4.1= ??.??.??.?? Port: ?????? ) Select Format (Menu 56.1=Control Room Conf key ent 1=Receivers ent 1=Receiver ent 4=Ethernet ent 1=Destination enter the IP address you received from us here. so e.g. 12.34.56.78 Then press ent to get the option Port No. enter the port number you received from us here e.g. 123456 and press ent Then you get IP Poll PORT NO. enter the same port number here and press ent
You are now in menu Ethernet (Onv1)
Go to 2=Format key ent it now says REC/Path 1 4 enter 2-Microtech here and press ent.
It now says Ethernet (ontv1) again
If you also If you want to receive a test notification once every 24 hours, go to 3=Autotest now.

You will then see TEST NOTIFICATION 1=Interval. Enter the number of hours after which it should send a test, e.g., 24:00. We only recommend enabling this if you have an unlimited email bundle; this notification is not necessary. Press enter after entering.
TEST NOTIFICATION 1=Interval will now appear on the display.
Go to 2=CUSTOMER NO. Enter the customer number you received from us here and press enter.

We are now going to set up the forwarding:

Enter the customer number (Menu 56.1.2 Forwarding and 1 PAD 1 enter 1+ CUSTOMER NO. enter Enter the 6-digit customer number you received from us here and press enter.

You will now see Forwarding 1=CUSTOMER NO. on the display again. Now enter 2. 2=TRIGGERS will now appear. Enter here you can specify which type of notifications should be forwarded for email and/or SMS. Go through them one by one and activate the ones you want. NOTE: ENABLING this causes many forwarded notifications; only do this if you have an unlimited data plan, as it consumes many of your messages.

Set Forwarding Order (Menu 56.1.2.1.3) to 1 and then enter

Set Ethernet Encryption to disable (Menu 56.3.3.5.1 = DISABLED)

Set Communication error 56.1.3 Comm Error Time to 480 sec.
Set For forwarding if in sharing and/or night mode on Menu 51-11-LOCAAL DEGAB and 1=ENABLED then enter
Set the recovery time to 0 sec Recovery time [51.03.1] For more information see installation manual.

Hide communication error Set Hide Com Flts [51.90] to 1=Enabled Enable this option to prevent that line interference, heart rate interference, and communication errors are sent and indicated on the displayed screen. 1= Enabled

We are now going to test the forwarding

Test Push Notification (Menu 56.7 Installer Test 01=Receiver 1 press enter you will see the Customer number on the display and below that the IP address check what you have received from us. Now press enter You will see test started on your display then send there if the communication was successful <> if all goes well you will now receive an email and/or SMS from the SMS server.

Exiting installer mode Galaxy Flex:

Ensure that INSTALLER MODE is displayed.

Press esc until this is the case.

Now press installer mode default 112233 and then esc
The system will now indicate checking sabotage loops.

if there are no sabotage or other messages you will see the normal display.

If a message is visible you must resolve it first, and then try again are not out of installer mode yet

If the installer test has been received successfully, test all notifications you wish to test to ensure that everything is set up correctly.

We recommend testing the system occasionally, for example once a month, to see if the forwarding notifications are still coming in.
