Galaxy Flex alarm system malfunction keeps starting up, startup display shows asterisks

Galaxy Flex alarm system malfunction keeps starting up, display shows asterisks, can have various causes.
The control panel has frozen due to an unknown cause. The control panel attempts to resolve the error by restarting. If a fatal error has occurred, this will not succeed, such as a short circuit, defective module, extreme heat, or other cause.
First, try the following: disconnect the power from the control panel, both the 230V and the battery.
Wait approximately 10 minutes. Reconnect the power; the control panel will start up, which may take 3 - 5 minutes.
If this works correctly again, the fault is resolved. If the fault returns, look at the following.
Data USB cable connected to the internal micro USB port: Solution: Remove this.
A short circuit on the communication bus causes a short circuit in the cabling and/or equipment connected to the alarm system, such as the control panel, wireless receiver, IP module, or GSM module. Solution: Remove all modules and connect only the control panel. Do this one by one and check if the message disappears; then reconnect a module each time. Also check the communication between the modules via menu 61. Diagnose Test 61 select option 1 current
Use this option to perform the following diagnostic tests: via the Communication Integrity option between the control panel and the modules.
Short circuit on the main PCB: cabling touches the PCB somewhere and causes a short circuit.
If none of the above has any effect, the main PCB is likely defective.
