Mounted magnet contacts for all alarm systems and also especially for Honeywell Galaxy alarm systems. A mounted magnet contact is a part of the alarm system that is used for detecting the opening and closing of doors or windows. The contact exists out of two parts: a magnetic transmitter and receiver. The transmitter mounted to the outside of the frame and the receiver is mounted on the inside of the frame. When a door or window is opened the distance between the transmitter and receiver changes and a message will be send to the alarm system to notify of a security breach.
